Sometime ago I started to teach article writing and blogging by recommending that people start with Twitter.

Frequently I have tweets that have say, 160 characters and I enjoy being forced to really focus on what I want to say to pare it down and pare it down...to 140!

I think all of us have the example of super blogger Yaro Starek in front of us and he routinely posts huge long articles. I think there&#039;s a case for doing for example a weekly long article but interspersed with shorter blog posts and some that could even be tweets.

I like variety
