This is a quick post to let you know a crazy thing I am going to do
on Wednesday of this week.

I will be running a Q&A webinar where I will basically answer any
question that you may have!

**Want to know about list building?  I’ll answer them.. ( I have
lists as high as 8,000)

**Want to know about selecting a profitable nice? I’ll help you out!
( I earn a full time income online)

**Want to know about Wordpress? Ask it! (I’m a bit of a WP expert)

**Want to know/learn something else? Bring it to the table! :-)

This is a free event. There will be no pitch at the end, no special
offer, nothing like that. Just your questions and my doing the best
I can to help as many people as I can.

I really don’t know what to expect so it should be fun. A replay of
the Q&A will ONLY be made available to those in attendance and if
enough people attend this session, I may make it a semi regular
feature.

We will do this on Wednesday, July 29th from 8:00 PM till 9:00 EST.
To sign up for the event just visit:

What Do You Doubt?

Published on 12 June 2009 by Michael Gunn in Rants and Raves

I got this tweet the other day and I saved t to my favorites.

“Procrastination is the result of doubt. Ask yourself: what am I doubting that makes me procrastinate?”

Talk about an AH-HA Moment. I never really thought about it like that. How many times do we put off what we KNOW we should do for our business and don’t ? Have you ever asked yourself, “What’s wrong with me? Why don’t I just DO it?” God knows I have, and still do at times.  [...]

I just sent the message below to my list. I hope you can make it too! :-)

————————————————————————————
What if I told you that you were only six inches away from success? How much harder would you work? How much harder would you push if you knew that you were THAT close to the success you’ve always wanted?

I truly believe that everyone is six inches away from succeeding. It’s also interesting to note that six inches is roughly the
distance between a person’s ears and that space BETWEEN them is what needs to be conquered for anyone to become successful.

On Tuesday June 9th from 2:00-3:30 PM EST I will be sharing lessons I have learned that have helped me overcome most of those six
inches. I’m not going to lie and tell you that I have it “perfect” yet, because I don’t. I DO however have several things I have learned that will help many people reach the level of success they want a whole lot faster.

In 90 minutes I will share what has taken me SEVEN years to learn!

I call this “8 “AH-HA!” Moments That Have Pushed Me To A Near 100k Income Working Part Time!”

https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/788070090

During this free class I will share insights that will help you no matter what business model you are using, no matter how much experience you have online, and no matter what income level you are at.

There will be LOTS of audience participation, time for you to ask questions, and maybe even some prizes. :-)

It can be hard to become successful in this business. Those six inches can take YEARS to get across. It did for me. Let me help you cut down that time. Register for this free event by visiting:

I have been doing some testing with the new Aweber “Thank You” page to see if it helps convert more double opt in subscribers.

On a niche site of mine I kept my normal “Thanks” page where it provides instructions on how to confirm their opt in as well as graphics showing the process. The 50/50 split test was against Awebers new default thank you page where a professional sounding recording automatically plays and gives verbal directions on how to confirm their opt in.

The results are

My Page:  Displays-98   Subscribes-26   Conversion-26.5%

Aweber Page: Displays-184  Subscribers 44  Conversion- 23.9%

While it’s too early to make any conclusions I have made one…

Aweber can’t divide by 2 very well. :(

I have to admit that I am a fan of “Twitter”. Not a fanatic mind you..just a fan.

I enjoy reading what friends I have met around the world are doing. I don’t really care what they had for breakfast that morning, but I like reading about accomplishments they have made, quotes they have run across, great sites they have found, excellent articles they have read, etc.

An interesting thing that Twitter has taught me is the power of BREVITY. You see, on Twitter you can only write 140 characters (letters, spaces, etc) before your message gets cut off. I have been amazed however at the power of how ‘Less can be more.”

I have purchased products linked to in Twitter. Not because of the 7 page sales letter but because of a 140 character recommendation from someone I was following. I have learned some amazing SEO tips, a great backup strategy, how to add backlinks overnight, and discovered incredible software I have never heard of or seen  before all from Twitter.

I also learned that Kevin Riley has something for rodents.

Like I said, I’m a fan. Not a fanatic.

A lot can be done in 140 characters.

It used to be that I wouldn’t post a blog message here unless unless I had a thousand word essay to share. Unless it had to be printed out, I didn’t think it was worth putting out.

I was wrong. So except to see a lot more short and informative posts here in the future.

Yet somehow this post wound up being much longer than I anticipated.

Like I said, I’m a fan. not a fanatic.  :-)
